The following reviews on GlamGlow Youthmud Tinglexfoliate Treatment and GlamGlow Brightmud Eye Treatment are more of first impression reviews since I’ve only used them both twice so far. However, since these products are very expensive and sold in tiny amounts, I do think they need to amaze after one use to be worth the price. Especially with all the hype surrounding them!
GlamGlow Youthmud Tinglexfoliate Treatment
The GlamGlow Youthmud Tinglexfoliate Treatment, is probably the most popular product of GlamGlow. The name “Tinglexfoliate” might be a little worrying since tingling skin is a sign of inflammation but in my case, I don’t feel any tingle – which is a good thing! The Youthmud Tinglexfoliate Treatment actually blew me away after my first use. This product has amazed me to the point that I will never buy the GlamGlow Supermud Clearing Treatment again! The Youthmud Tinglexfoliate Treatment does everything the Supermud Clearing Treatment does and a whole bunch more. It makes my skin look a bit brighter but the main thing I love is that it minimizes the appearance of my pores and makes my skin feel tight and smooth after using it – applying makeup has never been easier! My skin has a tendancy of being bumpy right underneath my eyes, around my nose and on my forehead. My bumpy skin texture isn’t nessecarily pimples, it’s rather a mild roughness that makes my makeup bunch up in these areas and look cakey. Youthmud solves this issue in ten minutes! It aslo makes my redness disappear and my pimples look a lot smaller. Last but not least, it also gets rid of my dead flaky skin. I only have to wear it for 10 minutes (Supermud takes 20 minutes) and the washing off part is so much easier than with the Supermud Clearing Treatment. GlamGlow Brightmud Eye Treatment
GlamGlow Brightmud Eye Treatment, 12g, consists of 12 dual ChromeCells (yes, that’s what they are called). The first thing I did when taking out my dual ChromeCell was to read the instruction “Use one dual ChromeCell per use”. I decided to go rebelious and only use a half of a dual ChromeCell because, in my opinion, there would be more than enough product for both eyes – and I was right! The consistency is very similar to the GlamGlow Thirstymud Hydrating Treatment, a bit thinner though and less sticky but the same smell. I did put it above my eyes since I’ve seen a lot of youtubers doing that but also since I had a lot of product over. Read my review on the GlamGlow Thirstymud Hydrating Treatment by clicking here.
The first time I used it was right after my five hours exam, after taking off my eye makeup. My under eye area was a bit swollen due to my tiredness but also a bit sore and red because I had trouble taking off a new eyeshadow I just had bought. According to GlamGlom, Brightmud Eye Treatment is designed for instant 3-minute results concerning:
- Dark Circles
- Tired Eyes
- Fine Lines
The only thing I noticed after wiping the product off with a soft dry tissue was that the under-eye area was less swollen and more tight than it was before the treatment. The second time I used the product was in the morning two days later before another exam. I had put it in the fridge over the night as recommended “for and extra bit of Zing” – apperantly great at waking you up in the mornings. This time I did it a little different. I applied one eye first to compare it with the other one and to see the results more clearly. The only difference I saw, as before, was that my under eye area was less swollen. I did enjoy the cooling effect because it made me feel more awaken but with the price tag and the small amount it comes in it’s not something I would invest in again.
